British Boy Sent Home from School After Showing Up in ’50 Shades of Grey’ Costume

Public School(Manchester Evening News) A schoolboy was “excluded” from World Book Day celebrations after turning up for lessons in a Fifty Shades of Grey costume.

Liam Scholes, 11, arrived at Sale High School dressed as Christian Grey, wearing a suit and carrying cable ties and an eye mask.

He later told the M.E.N it was “just to have a bit of fun”.

Mum Nicola Scholes, 36, said she received a call from teachers saying the costume was inappropriate and he would not be allowed to participate in themed events and a class photograph.
