Abortionist Admits: ‘It’s Violence. It’s a Person. It’s Killing.’

newborn pdWASHINGTON — A secretly recorded video from an abortion advocates conference that is currently being reviewed by Congress features an abortionist encouraging those gathered to agree with pro-lifers that abortion is in fact the violent killing of a person.

The video was reportedly leaked from a Congressional staffer to the site GotNews, and was uploaded to YouTube. It features a panel discussion presented by the National Abortion Federation in April 2014. The footage provides audio of the conference, including from Lisa Harris of Planned Parenthood of Mid and South Michigan, who asserts that abortionists should agree with pro-lifers on some levels.

“Ignoring the fetus is a luxury of [abortion] activists and advocates,” she says. “You can’t ignore the fetus, right? Because the fetus is the marker of how well, how good of a job you did; right?

“If you don’t account for all the parts, and you don’t look carefully, you may be setting someone up for infection or hemorrhage or whatever. The fetus matters—clinically to us,” Harris continues.

She then notes that most women who come for an abortion know that they are killing a child.

“Not to mention that women know what’s in there. You know, about two thirds, over 60 percent of women are already mothers and the remainder don’t want to be mothers. They’re not stupid. They know what’s in there,” Harris explains.

The Planned Parenthood medical director advises that abortionists should agree with pro-lifers about the reality of what is taking place during an abortion.

“I actually think it should be less about denying the reality of those images and more about acknowledging, that, ‘Yeah that’s kind of true,’ so given that we actually see the fetus the same way, and given that we might actually both agree that there’s violence in here,” Harris says. “Let’s just give them [pro-lifers] all, ‘It’s violence. It’s a person. It’s killing.'”

“Let’s just give them all that,” she continues. “And then the more compelling question is, why is this the most important thing I can do with my life? … I don’t think it needs to be about correcting facts; I think it needs to be about moving the conversation to a different place.”

In another video leaked to GotNews, Uta Landy, who leads an abortion training program at the University of California San Francisco, reads comments from other abortionists who likewise admit the reality of the murderous procedure.

“I don’t like saying I’m dismembering a fetus. It makes me feel bad,” she reads. “An eyeball just fell down into my lap, and that is gross. But I say to myself, ‘This abortion is going well.’”

“My coping mechanism is to focus on the baby fetus—reverence for something that was once alive and now is not,” Landy continues.

Dear Reader, our hearts are deeply grieved by the ongoing devastation in Iraq, and through this we have been compelled to take a stand at the gates of hell against the enemy who came to kill and destroy. Abortion is murder! It is pure evil! I watched a movie back in the 80s called “Silent Scream” about a abortionist trying to kill a baby in the womb. The baby would actually move side to side trying to avoid the steel rod that the abortionist was using. It brought me to tears and filled me with rage that someone could do this.

Our lawless evil president is even worse. He believes in killing babies born alive from a botched abortion. I know of no one more evil then 0bama!!! This man truly makes me sick!!!

    Abortion is disgusting!!!

Nice to see some on the side of abortion at least be intellectually honest about the killing they do. So, as the “doktor” says, let’s “move the conversation to a different place.” Why is it that you kill and advocate the killing of so many millions of humans? Answer: for the money, for the mansion, for the “research,” because it’s not a fair fight. Because you can.

Easy to make an argument that would elicit cries of “Godwin’s Law!” from the pro-death movement…

      • WorldGoneCrazy

Never forget WorldGoneCrazy’s Law: the first person to cry “Godwin’s Law” when the comparison to the Nazis is apt loses the argument. 🙂

Is there a better candidate for a modern-day holocaust than abortion?!? Somewhere I heard that the total worldwide is close to a billion human beings destroyed. I know we are at or a little over 60 million in the US, but many pro-life advocates say that is a low estimate. That is 10 times the number of Jews that Hitler had murdered.

Perhaps the “Godwin’s Law” argument is correct: the Nazis were choir boys compared to the modern pro-abort – Hitler even had enough of a conscience to outlaw abortion – for the Aryan race anyway. Not so much for the Jews, where it was “encouraged.” 🙁

        • Nidalap

Very true. I was being lazy, using the “Law” to evoke the thought of the argument without typing! 🙂

You know, if we can get them to that point then we can address the two year old child the woman already has that is seeking an abortion and ask what’s the difference? The problem though is that if you look at the euthanasia movement that two year old could also soon be at risk if they do admit all this. It’s all about making the taking of a human life acceptable if it might benefit someone else:-(
