U.K. Government Urged by Down Syndrome Campaigners: Don’t Screen Us Out

screen-compressed(Christian Institute) Over 900 people with Down syndrome and their families have signed a petition opposing controversial prenatal screening proposals.

The petition was delivered to Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt by a campaign group who argue that the proposals will lead to the systematic abortion of Down’s babies.

Don’t Screen Us Out say their concerns have been “constantly ignored” by the government.

    Down Syndrome people are happy people. Don’t kill them in womb. We should receive whatever God gives. We don’t have to be unhappy. We can all try to live together the best we can and be blessed by God. Jesus is our Saviour.
