Arizona Executive Fired for Bullying Chick-fil-A Employee at Drive-Thru

An executive of a medical supply company has been fired after videotaping himself bullying a Chick-fil-A employee at the drive-thru window because of the restaurant’s stance on homosexual “marriage.”

Adam Smith was formerly the CFO of Vante in Tuscon, Arizona until the corporation discovered that he had visited the popular restaurant chain — not to have a chicken sandwich, but to creatively hurt the company’s finances. A number of individuals across the country supportive of homosexual “marriage” had reportedly tried the same tactic of requesting free water to “nickel-and-dime it” off of Chick-fil-A.

However, not only did Smith request free water, he also told the drive-thru attendant exactly how he felt about the company.

“Chick-fil-A is a hateful corporation,” he stated. “The corporation gives money to hate groups, just because people want to kiss another guy.”

“I’m glad that I can take a little money from Chick-fil-A and maybe less money to hate groups,” he added, reaching out for his free water.

“I’m staying neutral on this subject. My personal beliefs don’t belong in the workplace,” the employee replied, remaining calm, but expressing disagreement. “It’s my pleasure to serve you always.”

“I don’t know how you live with yourself and work here,” Smith stated. “I don’t understand it. This is a horrible corporation with horrible values. You deserve better.”

“I hope you have a really nice day,” the woman responded.

“I will. I just did something really good. I feel purposeful,” he answered.

Smith then uploaded the footage to YouTube, but later took it down.

However, when his employers at Vante found out about the incident, they fired Smith and released a statement against his actions.

“Vante regrets the unfortunate events that transpired yesterday in Tucson between our former CFO/Treasurer Adam Smith and an employee at Chick-fil-A. Effective immediately, Mr. Smith is no longer an employee of our company,” it wrote. “The actions of Mr. Smith do not reflect our corporate values in any manner. Vante is an equal opportunity company with a diverse workforce, which holds diverse opinions. We respect the right of our employees and all Americans to hold and express their personal opinions, however, we also expect our company officers to behave in a manner commensurate with their position and in a respectful fashion that conveys these values of civility with others.”

“We hope that the general population does not hold Mr. Smith’s actions against Vante and its employees,” the company added.

Today, homosexuals are planning a “kiss-in” at Chick-fil-A locations nationwide to protest the company’s beliefs in Biblical marriage. The “kiss-in” is scheduled to take place simultaneously across America starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. A Facebook page created for the event outlines that the “kiss-in” was not in response to Mike Huckabee’s designation of August 1st as “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day,” but was scheduled several days prior.

“In honor of their support for love, equality and the real definition of family, we’re holding a national Same-Sex Kiss Day at Chick-Fil-A’s around the country,” the page states. One photograph posted by a supporter of the effort depicts a chicken on the cross, with the words “He died for your hate.”

Organizers are asking homosexuals to take pictures and videos of themselves kissing at Chick-fil-A and post it to the internet “for all the world to see.”

Some Christians have reportedly decided to return to their local Chick-fil-A today to again show support of the company and to witness to those who arrive to stage protests.

A homosexual activist, Carly McGehee, created the event, which has been backed by the Gay And Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).
