A video recently posted by the Muslim terrorist group ISIS, also simply known as the Islamic State, threatens to attack Americans if any airstrikes or raids by the United States cause harm to Islamic militants.

The short, 45-second video was uploaded to social media sites on Monday, and contains the message, “We will drown all of you in blood.” An Islamic State flag appears on the left-hand side of the screen, with an American flag on the right. Blood then splatters the American flag as the message, written in English, appears.

A photograph of an American that was beheaded during the Iraqi war also appears in the video, as well as footage of car explosions and individuals being shot by snipers.

The U.S. began launching airstrikes against the group earlier this month, and executed approximately 14 strikes on Sunday, as per the request of the Iraqi government.  The airstrikes were initiated in part in an effort to assist Yazidi members who have been trapped in the mountain ranges while trying to escape Muslim militants. According to reports, tens of thousands of Yazidis, Catholics and Christians have been fleeing parts of Iraq, which have been seized by ISIS.

“When we have the unique capabilities to help avert a massacre, then I believe the United States of America cannot turn a blind eye,” Barack Obama stated earlier this month. In addition to assisting the Iraqis with regaining territory captured by ISIS, the U.S. has been involved in humanitarian efforts to help those threatened by the Muslim terrorist group.

Obama has said, however, that he will not be deploying ground troops as occurred during the Iraqi war.

“We are not reintroducing thousands of troops to engage in combat,” Obama stated.

Earlier this month, VICE News released a video documentary showing Abu Mosa, a spokesman for ISIS threatening to retaliate if the U.S. interferes with its establishment of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

“I say to America that the Islamic Caliphate has been established,” he said. “Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones. Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq.”

“We will humiliate them everywhere, Allah willing, and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House,” Mosa declared.

Last week, supporters of the group posted a photo to Twitter apparently taken in front of the White House that showed a hand holding a Smartphone displaying an image of an ISIS flag.

“#AmessagefromISIStoUS,” the Tweet read. “We are in your state. We are in your cities. We are in your streets. You are our goals anywhere.”

Another photograph showed a handwritten note, which translated from Arabic reads, “Soldiers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria will pass from here soon, and Allah is perfecting His Light even though the disbelievers hate [that].”

The FBI is currently investigating the source of the Tweets.
