PASADENA, Calif. — A new video released this week by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) captures a Planned Parenthood abortionist, known for her “I want a Lamborghini” jesting in a previous recording discussing payment for baby body parts, now telling a prospective buyer that “$50 is on the low end.”

The footage features Mary Gatter, the president of Planned Parenthood’s Medical Directors Council, speaking with David Daleiden, who posed as a representative from a biotech company. The two note that Planned Parenthood previously worked with the procurement company Novogenix.

“What kind of volume do you need?” Gatter asks.

“How far in gestation do you go to?” Daleiden inquires in return.

“We only go up to 16 weeks (4 months). And you know, we only do 20 cases a week, so it’s not a big volume,” Gatter replies.

She soon asks Daleiden what kind of volume he needs and the gestational ages.

“[M]ost of the requests are actually 16 weeks and above, so you’re kind of right on the edge there, but I think it would be worth it to make the connection…,” Daleiden puts forward.

Gatter agrees, stating that she has been a part of such arrangements before.

“I did it in LA. I’m committed to it. I think it’s a great idea,” she relays. “We have to make sure your staff are on site, are credentialed, privileges—whatever—background checks and all that stuff.”

Gatter notes that the company would have to pay a “little money” for use of the space at Planned Parenthood, but “not a lot.” However, when Daleiden asks her about paying compensation per specimen as well, she tells him his offer is “on the low end.”

“[M]ost people now seem to be doing per specimen,” Daleiden states.

“Per specimen?” Gatter repeats. “Like $75 a specimen or $50 a specimen?”

“What we’ve been quoting is $50 per specimen. I think some people are doing more, some slightly less,” Daleiden replies.

“$50 is on the low end. $50 was like 12 years ago,” Gatter asserts.

However, after confirming that Daleiden would send his own techs to remove the needed body parts from the premises, like other procurement companies do, she told him to give her a call to work something out.

CMP states that the interview shows that Planned Parenthood was willing to receive payment per specimen—which is illegal under federal law—and that there are no “reimbursable costs” unlike the organization’s original argument to the media that it was not making money on the aborted babies themselves.

“The fact that Novogenix, StemExpress, and ABR stationed their own workers inside Planned Parenthood abortion clinics to perform the harvesting, packaging, and transport of aborted baby body parts demonstrates that Planned Parenthood had no reimbursable costs under the law,” it said. “The volume-based sums that Planned Parenthood charged these businesses for baby parts are criminal trafficking and profiteering in fetal body parts.”

“The U.S. Department of Justice should take heed of the Congressional investigations’ criminal referrals and prosecute Planned Parenthood to the full extent of the law, and taxpayers must stop being forced to subsidize Planned Parenthood’s criminal abortion empire,” CMP said.
