Christian News Network / WIRE / Brentwood, TN — Artists in Christian International (ACT International) is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Ingegneri, Th.D., as its new Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Dr. Ingegneri will lead ACT International into its next chapter, advancing the organization’s mission to mobilize and equip creative ministries for Kingdom work around the world.
Dr. Ingegneri brings over 25 years of ministry leadership experience to ACT International, blending pastoral insight, creative artistry, and organizational vision. A graduate of Life Pacific University, he is a seasoned worship leader, songwriter, and communicator who has served in a variety of ministry roles.
Prior to joining ACT International, Dr. Ingegneri served as Lead Pastor of Grace North Church in Phoenix, Arizona, where he also held positions as Executive Pastor and Worship Pastor. In 2017, he and his wife, Lydia, founded Awaken Ministries International, an organization dedicated to serving the creative community and equipping artists, worship leaders, and ministers worldwide. Together, they also established The Awaken House in the Nashville area—a creative hub and hospitality center that includes a coffeehouse and event venue.
As CEO, Dr. Ingegneri will spearhead several strategic initiatives designed to strengthen and expand ACT International’s global impact, including efforts to:
• Expand international partnerships and increase capacity for creative ministries worldwide.
• Develop training programs and resources to equip artists and innovators for greater ministry effectiveness.
• Enhance financial stewardship and deepen donor engagement for long-term sustainability.
• Cultivate a culture of discipleship, creativity, and spiritual formation across the ACT International network.
• Engage a new generation of artistic Kingdom servants through partnerships with Christian universities.
“I am honored to lead ACT International at this pivotal moment,” said Dr. Ingegneri. “God is calling artists, innovators, and creative laborers into every mission field, and I’m passionate about empowering them to walk confidently in their calling.”
Founded in 1973, ACT International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry dedicated to mobilizing and equipping creative missionaries who serve the global Church through arts, innovation, and cultural engagement. Today, ACT International supports more than 500 ministries in over 50 countries, providing administrative support, coaching, ministry accountability, pastoral care, and strategic resourcing.
Byron Spradlin, founder and longtime president of ACT International, expressed his strong support for the new appointment: “Scott’s heart for artists and his proven leadership in ministry make him a natural fit to take ACT International into its next season.”
The ACT International Board of Directors shares this confidence, anticipating a fruitful partnership with Dr. Ingegneri in advancing ACT International’s mission, strengthening creative communities, and extending the reach of the Gospel through the arts and innovation.
