Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s Daughter Joins Trump Campaign as Senior Adviser

Trump-Huckabee-Twitter(Politico) — Sarah Huckabee Sanders, previously the campaign manager for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s 2016 presidential effort, has joined Donald Trump’s campaign.

Huckabee Sanders, daughter of the former governor, will serve as a senior adviser for the campaign.

“I volunteered to join Mr. Trump’s campaign because he is a champion of working families; not Washington-Wall Street elites. Like the other Republican candidates, Mr. Trump is pro-life, pro-marriage, and will appoint conservatives to the courts. What makes Mr. Trump my choice for president is he will break the grip of the donor class on our government and make it accountable to working families again. I’m honored to help Mr. Trump Make America Great Again,” Huckabee Sanders said in a statement released through the Trump campaign.

I used to like Huckabee, watched his show now and then … but I’m totally disappointed in him now.

      He doesn’t care.

      • Jo Lux

I’m sure Huckabee doesn’t care about God either.

All of my respect for Gov Huckabee just went out the window. No enlightened Christian could possibly want this ungodly man as head of our nation!!

If you think you are going to get a pastor for president, you are mistaken. We need someone who can lead and yes will defend the rights of our faiths and holds to the constitution and has some morals but there is no one running for president w/out skeletons in the closest. Cruz lies, I’ve listened to him many times and many times heard him lie and that is the present and gives mason hand signals, just watch his pledge of allegiance to the flag with his mason hand half way into his jacket and yet he professes Christ, many running for office will profess Christ to get the Christian vote and then there’s Rubio who sounds like a republican obama and memorizes a lot of his answers, then there leaves Trump for it’s come down to these three or you can have Hillary. Sorry, but this is the truth. Come Lord Jesus, Come.

If you ask me, what we Christians need protection is against the materialism and worldly pleasures Trump has helped spread and built his entire wealth on … casinos, strip clubs in his hotels for example. What he has done sounds more like anti-Christ to me, including spreading hatred toward minorities.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Then give the verse that says helping spread sexual immorality so you can make money off it, is A-OK? Is sexual immorality not a sin?
I don’t understand how a good Christian can support such a man.

          • Josey

I think you have missed my point altogether, I don’t think any of these running for election follow Christ. Stay close to Jesus, He is the truth, the life and the way.

That’s your justification for going for the least religious one who profit from the sex industry?

Did I say I was voting for Trump? No. I am in prayer over who to vote for or to vote at all. God bless.

            — Did I say I was voting for Trump? No.

If you’re not voting for Trump, good for you! But why the heck did you wait this long to finally tell me that? Why didn’t you say so the first time I reply to you???

            2 Timothy 3

            1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

How can you not see that Trump is a phony Christian?

Trump says the IRS may be auditing him because he is a “strong Christian” and “maybe there is a bias.”

I gotta ask … Why would a STRONG CHRISTIAN have a STRIP CLUB in his hotel??? The country’s first strip-club-in-a-casino opened in the Trump Taj Mahal.

        • Josey

I never said I thought Trump was a Christian.

          • Jo Lux

But Trump says he’s a Christian, so is he lying?
