PayPal Pulls North Carolina Expansion Plan After Transgender Restroom Law

PayPal-compressed(Reuters) PayPal Holdings Inc (PYPL.O) on Tuesday canceled plans to open a global operations center in Charlotte, North Carolina and invest $3.6 million in the area after the state passed a controversial law targeting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) citizens.

The digital payment company’s protest is the first by a major business after North Carolina became the first state last month to enact a measure requiring people to use bathrooms or locker rooms in schools and other public facilities that match the gender on their birth certificate rather than their gender identity.

The law, which overturned a Charlotte city ordinance, was widely interpreted as an attack on LGBT rights. State lawmakers also voted to prohibit local governments from enacting anti-discrimination protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

“The new law perpetuates discrimination and it violates the values and principles that are at the core of PayPal’s mission and culture,” Dan Schulman, Chief Executive Officer said in a statement.

In a letter on March 29, founders and chief executives of more than a hundred companies, including Apple Inc (AAPL.O), Twitter Inc (TWTR.N) and Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O) urged North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory to repeal the legislation.

Earlier in March the payment processor announced plans to open the operations center in Charlotte and employ 400 skilled workers there. It was set to invest more than $3.6 million in the Charlotte area by the end of 2017, according to a news release on the governor’s website.

PayPal said it is now looking for another site for the center and has not yet made a decision on location.

“If our action in keeping men out of women’s bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it,” Lieutenant Gov. Dan Forest said in a statement in response to the announcement.

“North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our children. They are precious and priceless,” he declared. “If a corporation wanting to do business in North Carolina does not see the worth of our children in the same light, then I wish them well as they do business somewhere else.”

Well, good! I mean, people who own businesses should be able to refuse their services or their very presence should they so choose…right? 🙂

    • The Last Trump

      Ha ha! Nice!
Isn’t this normally where the “discrimination police” spring into action and demand service for “everyone”!?
      (cricket, cricket)

      • Quantz

Right on schedule, sticking up for hate….(sigh)

        • The Last Trump

Oh look! Here comes ONE now! :/
          And right on CUE Val!
          Hee, hee! Adorable! 🙂

          • Quantz

Yeah, hee hee! Let’s hate on the LGBT crowd again and again and again – how adorable is that? Can’t just let them live their lives, oh no. Got to get right in there with the judging and condemnation…

          • The Last Trump

You saw hate there AGAIN somewhere!? REALLY?
Wowzers! Might wanna see a doctor about that Val.
            I think you’re getting worse! 🙁

          • The Last Trump

            There was judging now?
            AND condemnation!?
            🙂

Hee, hee! Where in the world are you getting ALL of this stuff!?
Are we reading the SAME posts?

            Let’s see now, I SAID:
            “Ha ha! Nice!
Isn’t this normally where the “discrimination police” spring into action and demand service for “everyone”!?
            (cricket, cricket)”

(Feel free to misquote me. You know, like always 😉

Hmmmm. And YOU read, hatred, judging AND condemnation!
Wow! That’s quite a “gift” you have there! Read into things much? And with a lot of anger and intolerance? Somebody’s been spending too much time at hatesites like fstdt, huh, Val?
Hate! Hate! Hate! Everywhere you look! Tsk, tsk. Such a shame.
You should try Jesus, Muffin! You won’t feel so miserable all the time.

          • Quantz

            Judging? Condemnation?
Come now, let’s just call it what it is…hate.
Boy, for someone who claims to be a Christian, you sure do like to go for the doom and gloom. All your posts do is point fingers and boy oh boy do you ever wish you could push that RAPTURE button and have all this filthy sin, excuse me, homosexuality, flushed away in the blink of an eye. Guess what, Trumpy? Some of us happen to like it here.
The only mirth coming from you are your own “hee hees” and “adorables”. You really need a new playbook…you’ve been a stereotype and a caricature for ages, is this something you’re consciously TRYING for?

          • The Last Trump

Hate again? Hate everywhere? In every post? Really?
Wow. Where can I buy me some of those hate coloured glasses, Muffin?
            They are really working!

          • Quantz

Can I just ask you, you really love to call people “Muffin” – are you a homosexual yourself? I mean, why not just call people “sweetie”? If you’re gay, Trumpy, I take no issue with it – just seems a little strange to be called “Muffin” by another man who has so many issues with gay people…

          • The Last Trump

            Issues? What issues?
            (C’mon! Quote me…quote me…quote me…quote me!! 🙂

          • Quantz

All right, let’s go with one you CAN’T try to deny. Did you or did you not call homosexuality a perversion?

          • The Last Trump

C’mon now. You know how quotes work!
Please cite the time, day and website and provide the actual quotation.
Just go to my personal archive Muffin, at fstdt! I know, right? It actually serves a purpose!
Then copy the pertinent details just like I already showed you, and then, um, re-submit HERE what you previously copied, from HERE, when you submitted it THERE! Yeah. That!

          • Quantz

Give me a difficult one next time.

“Yes, your treatment here by the “tolerant” ones is a good indicator of why so many companies today claim to “support” sexual perversion. Clearly out of fear of reprisal. The bullying and hate mongering that they are subjected to if they do not, has become legendary. ”

(The Last Trump, Christian News Network, 2/14/16, 1:22 pm.)

          • The Last Trump

Well, there you go! That is how we do it! Sure, sure. You took the lazy, easy way out and just copied what I previously provided, BUT STILL. There may be hope for you yet, “translater”!
And yes. Trumpy’s position falls in line with God’s. Go figure! Obvious perversion of the clear and unmistakable design. I just wanted to see if I could actually get you to jump through my hoops and actually repost my work that it may be enjoyed anew for a wider audience! Thanks Muffin!
            Hee, hee! You never disappoint!
Hey! Wait a minute….Where’d the part about calling for the deaths of others go!!?

Why does the same quote provided by you always say something different?
            Adorable Val!

          • Quantz

Did you or did you not say that? This is easily resolved. Simply answer the question, Muffin Head. You should recognize whether they are your words or the work of an impostor.

Hee, hee! So satisfying when you can skewer someone with their own words!

          • The Last Trump

            ?
See above post. Pay close attention to the “yes” part!
            Mister “skewer”! Hee, hee!
And yes, Muffin. When I skewered you with your OWN submissions of my unedited posts on YOUR OWN hatesite, clearly refuting your shameful lies and revealing the scope of your unreliability and untrustworthiness, it WAS most satisfying! Perhaps, one day, you might experience such a thrill!
            But …not….TODAY! 🙂

          • Quantz

OH! So your position falls in line with GOD’S! Isn’t it AMAZING, Muffin Head, how God hates EXACTLY the same things you do?

Yes, not difficult to skewer you when everything you say can barely suppress its inhuman need to press that RAPTURE button and cleanse the earth of all the things you hate? All those liberals? All those transgendered people? All those Catholics and homosexuals?

But you’re not one who “hates”. Oh no. Because everyone knows God hates homosexuals, right? And the transgendered? And Catholics, and liberals?

You revealed NOTHING but lies, Muffin Head. You cannot submit screen captured images to fstdt. Nor anywhere else. What you have been caught in is what most people commonly refer to as a LIE.

Nothing new for you, though, is it, Muffin Head?

          • The Last Trump

Actually, I revealed actual evidence. Remember? From TWO places!
            And you revealed…..
Well, we’re STILL waiting! Gee, how many days has it been?….
BUSTED mister fibber! And it’s just driving you CRAZY!
How embarrassing. How humiliating. Your own beloved hatesite convicts you! Liberals and all of that hate! But seriously. Why lie? Shameful 🙁

          • Quantz

Except that you didn’t. You revealed nothing more than your own paranoid schizophrenic BS. And you revealed your own lies in the process…such as that you can submit images to fstdt dot com.

Tell me when I’m busted when I’m actually busted. That screen capture of yours I’m looking at right now, complete with genocidal statement regarding homosexuals. Problem is this site won’t host photos.

Fibber, eh? In your wildest, most paranoid dreams, Muffin Head. Why lie? Maybe you could answer that?

          • The Last Trump

            Interesting topic. Lies.
You tell me Val? Why would a delusional man claim to be a woman? And then stalk Christians 24/7 constantly lying about who there were? And about everything in general? I mean, how deranged would one have to be? Weird eh, Pinester?
Or do you prefer Jocasta, Muffin? 🙂

Still on about quotes are we?
Try this one on for size:

“All the above listed are stubborn. I don’t know how I got caught in a battle of wills with them but somehow I have made it my sport to be the biggest annoyance I can to Oboehner, Trumpy and WorldGoneCrazy. I mostly use the name Valri on there if you want to look. Again, using a female name but only because I’ve used male ones in the past and they always got banned. I have a theory that Christian News Network seems to be kinder to women. The theory is sound so far, no one’s banned Valri yet. But Trumpy and WGC continue to mop the floor with me again and again. My “Quantz” profile will likely be banned, big surprize, for gross misconduct, lying continually and breaching all of the forums rules and guidelines. But those two fundamentalist titans remain! It’s so frustrating! The Last Trump continues to embarrass and humiliate me publically as I was caught in a lie, unbelievably by MY OWN post submissions and I just continue to be outwitted and out classed. Trump just cannot be beat! Arrrrrrgh!”

            (Jocasta, aka”Quantz”, aka”Valri”, aka”Etc.Etc.” FSTDT, Feb 2016)
            Sound familiar? 🙂
So remember folks, head on over to fstdt dot com and click on “Jocasta” and, for the first time, meet the REAL “Quantz”!
            Real attractive these people!
Hee, hee! Too easy Muffin! Too easy.
            Don’t forget to SUBMIT!
And chalk another one up for Trumpy. I think we’re going to see a LOT more of YOUR quotes submitted HERE from now on! 😉

          • Quantz

            Well, well, well.

So you’ve figured out how to use Google. Good for you! Red star!

What you haven’t figured out is that fstdt isn’t the work of one person. If you read ANYTHING of the discussion you quoted, or at least the part of it you quoted without all the self-congratulatory self-written crap you tacked on yourself, you’ll know how many people over there know allllll about you…or at least you would if you read the comments at the end of any one of your submissions.

So yes, it appears that Valri comes from over there, and has used multiple names in the past due to having been banned and is not a woman at all. Where you go horribly off the rails is assuming that Im her/him, merely because we frequent the same website. And I still don’t know who this Pinester you keep talking about is either, who is not mentioned anywhere, here or there.

Tell me something, what does ANY of this have to do with your unhealthy obsession with end times, or hatred for all the groups you are known for hating?

          • The Last Trump

It’s alright Jocasta. We’re done here. You’ve been Trumped. It’s over. We’ve had our fun. And this will likely be the last time we speak. I think you’ve suffered enough embarrassment and humiliation, don’t you?
You know, it really is a tragedy that you and your crowd despise Christians so much so to actually go to the deceitful and shameful lengths you go to harass them. I wonder, when you read your own posts, and reflect on your exposed lies and sinister motives, do you actually still believe you represent what you once considered right?
Does your conduct actually make you proud?
            I would hope not.

Anyone who bothers to take the time can visit fstdt and view your comments and those of your peers (who are ALL regular visitors to this site) and just shake their heads in bewildered astonishment. That you are so blind to your obvious hate is very disturbing. And truly sad 🙁
However, I forgive you. Because the Lord I love and serve demands it. And because He has forgiven me. And because I realize that you are likely afraid for yourself or for a gay loved one and merely wish to guard against what you perceive as all of those nasty Christians.
And it’s too bad. You’d probably like them.

Best of luck with your “mission”. Hopefully, you see it someday for the ugly and misguided mistake that it truly is. Until then, however, this is one Christian who will no longer respond to your misplaced desire to merely be “the biggest annoyance” to others. What a pitiful waste of time.
I think we’ve got better things to do.

            Goodbye, my “friend.”

With regret and concern for you,
Your long time adversary and regular pain in the ***,

            The Last Trump 🙁

          • WorldGoneCrazy

Val sock puppets lack all self-awareness! 🙂

          • Quantz

Oh, no no no no NO, Trumpy, it doesn’t quite work that way.

I have no idea what you mean by “Trumped” – in terms of the Val-monster, maybe you’ve made a discovery or two. But as long as you continue to tell me I’m her/him, you sadly show that you have made no progress at all.

But as long as you continue to attack and hate homosexuals, the transgendered, liberals, pro-choice peope and others, there will ALWAYS be someone here to stand up to you. That much I can promise.

            Just watch and see.

          • WorldGoneCrazy

OMG, you outed him!!! Nice work, Trump – see this is why you won the Gold Medal, and I had to settle for Bronze. 🙂

          • Quantz

            That entire quote is bogus.

          • The Last Trump

I must confess, it really was disappointing to see just how real their hate is for us. How they band together to scheme and to plot, and to use false identities and genders, fully expecting to be banned for violating forum guidelines as their mission truly is merely to harass and attack Christians.
No meaningful discussion. No real debate. No exchange of ideas.
Truly heartbreaking that people like this really exist.
And ALL of the wasted hours we’ve spent conversing with these people!
            Not anymore. 🙁

          • WorldGoneCrazy

They scheme against you because you are so incredibly effective (see Matthew 5:10-12, the most quoted verses on our sidewalk), and because they are jealous of your brilliance, your devastating logic, your excellent science and theology, your great looks, your all-around “fundie-ness!”

All those pages they keep on us on their fundie site are converting many to Christ and to pro-life. Souls – and lives – are being saved when a reasonable open-minded agnostic goes on there and says to himself “You know, what Trump just wrote there makes a LOT of sense. I am going to re-think my position.”

The Val sock puppets are unwittingly doing God’s work, and we should thank them for it! 🙂

          • GEE

Quantz It is clear you don’t know the real Jesus of the Bible because He did/does/will Judge sin, He took it upon Himself on the cross to show how seriously he looks upon Sin.

As much as you would like to pretend with God, there are in fact things that God does indeed HATE, so hate is not necessarily a bad word. He hates these things because He knows it is self-destructive and he warns us against committing sins like the sin of homosexuality, fornication, adultery, murder, etc. Similar to you hating your kids for lying cheating or something worse, you don’t hate them as individuals but you hate the actions they exhibit because you know it is heading down the wrong path, a path of death and destruction and if you know God and the truth you will call them out on it and not pretend to care and continue to let them lead self-destructive lifestyles, that is in fact the most loving this you can do, to correct and reprimand, like saving someone life that is ready to jump off a bridge. Sometimes love seems like hate and sometimes pretending to love & support for someone when they are doing wrong is really what is hateful.

          • Quantz

I mean no disrespect, but your position as a Christian fundamentalist I believe disqualifies you from speaking on behalf of God.

      • Ambulance Chaser

This has nothing to do with service. PayPal is not denying its service to anyone based on their feelings about the LGBT community; PayPal is refusing to build an expansion office in North Carolina. This has zero equivalence to public accommodation laws.

You might have a point if PayPal had issued a public declaration stating “Everyone is welcome to use our services as long as they support LGBT rights.” Well, you MIGHT have a point, except that “people who do not support LGBT rights” are not a protected class anywhere in this country.

        • The Last Trump

Yes, I knew YOU wouldn’t have a problem with it.
And look at that. I’m right again! 🙂

        • Slidellman4life

PayPal is not denying its service to anyone based on their feelings about the LGBT community; PayPal is refusing to build an expansion office in North Carolina.

This statement is intellectually dishonest. Try again.

          • Ambulance Chaser

What’s dishonest about it? It has nothing to do with customers. The only thing that is “intellectually dishonest” is trying to equate a business’s decision to build an office with a business’s decision about which customers to serve.

      • acontraryview

How is choosing to locating a business operations location related to offering services to everyone?

Has anyone ever suggested that a person who doesn’t want to operate a business according to anti-discrimination laws should be forced to open a business?

    • gogo0

you’re right! if businesses don’t want to serve all customers equally, they should go somewhere else!

    • Guest

They aren’t refusing customers, they are refusing to be a customer in North Carolina. As a point of fact they can’t refuse the business of someone just because their ethnicity is North Carolinan, but they can refuse to spend their money there.

      • Nidalap

        Customer

        noun

        1.

a person who purchases goods or services from another; buyer; patron.

Exactly what goods or services is this business refusing to buy in NC? 🙂

        • Guest

All the things necessary to build and operate a business center – duh.

    • l penn

U bet and I am!! No More business with Obamabot Idiots!!

  • SSGT_Randolph

“State lawmakers also voted to prohibit local governments from enacting anti-discrimination protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity.”

What? I thought this was supposed to be a transgender bathroom bill. So if this bill is not about anti-gay discrimination, why did state lawmakers feel the need to include this?

I applaud PayPal in exercising its freedom of conscience. As a matter of fact, I think I will exercise my freedom of conscience and make it a requirement that my receivables are paid via PayPal.

    • Slidellman4life

The irony here is that you will not allow Christians to exercise their freedom of conscience.

      • SSGT_Randolph

How are Christians being prohibited from exercising their freedom of conscience?

        • Slidellman4life

You already know the answer to that question. Stop trolling.

      • Gary Whiteman

These people don’t meet anyone with a conscience, they don’t really understand what’s at stake.

  • Mike Kohler

THIS is the message I just sent PayPal.
I encourage ALL of my friends to do the same. :-<

    Please CANCEL my PayPal Account.!!!!!!!
Your decision to cancel the N.C. Operations Center as part of your support for the LGBT Agenda is nothing short of Political EXTORTION!

    • gogo0

no, its the free market in action! how could any conservative have a problem with that?

      • violetteal

It’s a free market action to do business with someone else. You don’t understand the market. Every action has a reaction until it balances out. A conservative is not forced to do business with Paypal and so they will pull their money.

        • gogo0

the balancing reaction will be paypal setting up business elsewhere and creating jobs and expanding commerce in that area instead.

          • violetteal

The devil offers you the world but you lose you soul.

          • Balerion

Sounds like some prosperity gospel preacher to me.

        • Balerion

True, but the number of people who willl end up throwing a hissy fit and refusing to do any sort of business with them purely out of spite will not have any significant effect on their profits. If anything, standing behind North Carolina and that medieval, discriminatory new law that they just passed would cost them a lot more money. So, in other words, the free market HAS spoken on this – loud and clear.

          • violetteal

I see where your loyalties are.

          • ratso444

Since when is standing up for a principle “spite”?

They’re just butthurt that their boycotts don’t seem to be having much of an effect (anymore), as there aren’t enough regressives like them around anymore to make any sort of significant impact.

    • acontraryview

You will, no doubt, be missed.

    • Quantz

I just wrote to PayPal thanking them, and urged all my Facebook friends to do the same, and not to give in to pressure from religious bigots.

    • Sethro

“Congressman Robert Pittenger made a great point yesterday: ‘PayPal does business in 25 countries where homosexual behavior is illegal, including 5 countries where the penalty is death, yet they object to the North Carolina legislature overturning a misguided ordinance about letting men in to the women’s bathroom? Perhaps PayPal would like to try and clarify this seemingly very hypocritical position.’”

  • Don D Lasater

Nice going North Carolina. Pay pal can takeep the gays with them.

  • Reason2012

// “The new law perpetuates discrimination and it violates the values and principles that are at the core of PayPal’s mission and culture,” Dan Schulman, Chief Executive Officer said in a statement. //

Hey Dan, what about discriminating against 99+% of the population? Women and little girls that expect to be able to go to the bathroom without a man who merely has to pretend to feel like a woman walking in on them? If you wish to support perversion and pedophilia, you only show the vast percent of American who are Christians how anti-Christian and pro-immorality and pro-perversion you truly are.

    • Ambulance Chaser

Since this has happened exactly zero times, you’re really creating a solution in search of a problem.

And no, PayPal is not “discriminating against 99% of the population.” 99% of the population does not support passing laws to take rights away from gays, nor was 99% of the population ever going to work for PayPal if it had opened a building in North Carolina.

            Pew research.

Uh-huh. We all know we can get any answer we want based on how you ask the question. 99%? Either Pew is lying or you are.

“We all know we can get any answer we want based on how you ask the question.”

The question has been asked the exact same way for decades. Are you suggesting that years ago, when the survey showed that a majority were against equal treatment under the law for gay people that the results where wrong?

What in the wording of the questions regarding this issue would lead you to make a statement that the wording affected the results?

          • Slidellman4life

The question has been asked the exact same way for decades.

          • Ambulance Chaser

Okay, so you want to refute the study by “form of the question.” Okay, what was the form of the question?

          • Slidellman4life

No, I am refuting the study because Pew Research (and you) want us to believe the majorities of every state that in the last decade or so that voted no on same-sex marriage suddenly had a change of heart, even in the face of the deliberate, malicious targeting of Christians and Christian businesses by members of the LGBTQW community and its supporters.

Because 99% means just about everybody.

Nope. I am calling their bluff. It’s 100% horse manure.

          • Ambulance Chaser

I do believe they had a change of heart. I don’t believe it was sudden. It happened over a course of years. Older people dying, younger people growing up, and yes, a few people have had changes of heart.

Now, if you’d like to refute the Pew study, by all means, have at it. I’m sure you can find their methodology written out in painstaking detail wherever it was initially published. Go ahead, just be prepared to do a lot of work.

          • Slidellman4life

Now, if you’d like to refute the Pew study, by all means, have at it.

I already did. And I’ll also add this: Who are these people Pew Research are talking to? Thanks to the internet, my circle is not restricted to localities, but all over the USA, and the world. And not one person I have asked in that circle tells me they have been approached by Pew Research about anything, let alone same-sex marriage.

You are welcome to believe they had a change of heart, just as I am certain you believe the moon landings were faked and 9/11 was an inside job. But in the land of reality, everyone else knows it is pure bullfeathers.

          • Ambulance Chaser

            “I already did.”

You refuted nothing. You merely declared your lack of desire to read it critically.

” And I’ll also add this: Who are these people Pew Research are talking to? Thanks to the internet, my circle is not restricted to localities, but all over the USA, and the world. And not one person I have asked in that circle tells me they have been approached by Pew Research about anything, let alone same-sex marriage.”

There were three studies. Let’s just pick one, which covered all Americans. It was conducted in 2013 and polled a random sampling of 1,504 adults. 51% of those polled favor allowing gays and lesbians to marry. 67% favored any type of legal union, up from 46% ten years earlier.

It’s not surprising that you wouldn’t know anyone polled; they only polled 30 people per state.

As you can imagine, people 18-30 polled the highest, at 73% support, and people over 50 polled the lowest, with 57% support. However, all demographics reported increased support from 2003.

Now, what about this makes you think any of this is in any way false, or a fabrication?

          • Slidellman4life

Dude, enough. I will not talk to anyone who defends pedophilia. And do not say you did not, because I have the direct quote from you and if you wish to delete it before the mods see it you can rest assured I have a screenshot so I can keep it fresh in their minds if need be.

            We are done here.

          • Ambulance Chaser

I didn’t defend pedophilia and as such, I have nothing to retract, so I won’t be deleting anything.

I defended, in part, the Rind study, which, although it had its flaws, did not promote pedophilia. So again, I will neither retract nor delete anything.

You, however, may want to reexamine your hypersensitivity and penchant for jumping to conclusions.

          • Slidellman4life

I defended, in part, the Rind study, which, although it had its flaws, did not promote pedophilia.

            Liar.

          • Ambulance Chaser

I’m not lying. Neither are you, I might add, but you are misinformed.

The study reached many, many conclusions, but the ones popularly reported were largely misinterpreted. The study didn’t conclude that adult-child sex was acceptable or should be legalized, only that it was not an automatic determining factor of the child’s mental health later in life, according to certain criteria.

Yes, parts of it were very wrong as well, but it was an extensive scientific study, and as such, it’s a lot more technical and complicated than can be summarized here.

“”Man found in women’s locker room cites new transgender bathroom rule” KOMO-TV, 2/17/16″

Was the man transgender? No. Try again.

          • Slidellman4life

Nobody has said, or is saying, that “transgendered” people will commit crimes. We have been saying men would use it as an excuse to go into the ladies’ room, including and especially putting on a dress and simply saying they are female.

This guy did not do that. He merely walked in and took off his shirt, and cited the law when his presence was challenged, for which he was, unfortunately, correct.

          • acontraryview

“and cited the law when his presence was challenged, for which he was, unfortunately, correct.”

No, he was not correct, as he did not identify as a woman. Merely putting on a dress does not make one transgender, any more than a woman putting on jeans makes her transgender.

Hopefully you realize that a man can put on a dress and go into a ladies room now. There is no law against that.

          • Slidellman4life

            No, he was not correct

We’re talking about people USING THE TOILET. In the appropriate bathroom designated for the anatomy that, you know, they actually have, and the gender that they scientifically, biologically and just matter of factually, actually ARE. Period.
Regardless of any nonsensical feelings and opinions.
RIGHTS taken away!!? Rights? Huh? Hello???

No matter how badly you and the liberal left, scientifically confused, and sheer fact denying crowd wish it wasn’t so, there are, indeed, only TWO genders. Male and female.
And intelligent folks know, that the two are to forever be, you guessed it, segregated.
And if THAT really needs to be explained to you more fully, than you’re in worse shape than I thought.

          • Ambulance Chaser

The fact that you truly believe that transgenderism does not exist is irrelevant. The fact that you believe it to the point of stomping your foot, using multiple punctuation marks, and shouting at me does not render it any more relevant.

What would be relevant is if you were able to overturn the decision of the American Psychological Association that transgenderism exists as a recognized psychological condition, and that its best treatment is to reassign the sufferer’s gender.

But, hey, if you think you’re better at psychology than the country’s most preeminent psychologists, don’t let me stand in your way. I look forward to reading your paper.

Unless you are a complete m0r0n and like to temp fate and victimize people trying to pee in peace. It’s ok if you don’t get it. Most liberals today don’t.

Papers he says! You’re the type that requires papers to understand common sense, huh? Yeah, life must be pretty complicated when you’re a politically correct liberal today! • The Last Trump

Oh Quantzy! You would have loved him!
Never has there been a crazier, Christian website stalking, hypocritical, God denying, magic believing, freedom loathing deviant completely obsessed with, and constantly outwitted by, yours truly. Everything about this guy screamed hate and intolerance. He would stalk Christians daily, rambling incoherently about nothing of any importance whatsoever, never once actually speaking to the topic at hand in the actual articles. Just constant personal attacks, he said/she said nonsense, mudslinging and slanderous lying. A real class act. Naturally, he would repeatedly get banned, never once learning from his mistakes but rather just continuing to lash out hatefully, blaming others for his mistakes. And, instead of moving on and getting the help he so obviously needed, he would simply begin a new profile and continue his hateful and misguided mission exactly where he left off, seeking out and attacking good people who were keeping to themselves while demanding that THEY stay out of everybody else’s business!!? Koo, koo!
And boy, wouldn’t ya know it, did he love him some fstdt! Ridiculing and attempting to bully others on a website dedicated to hate was right up his alley! Of course, he was banned repeatedly for violating forum guidelines on morality, decency and civility, what with all of his incessant rants of hate and intolerance, the very things he was accusing everyone else of.
And yet, I remain. And other such fundamentalists like me. But he, alas, is no more.
Funny how that keeps happening to promoters and partakers in fstdt dot com, huh Muffin!
While THEY claim to be the defenders of love and tolerance!
            Must be a coincidence. 😉
Ahhh, yes. Good times, good times.

          • Quantz

I’d love to believe you, but I see no sign of any Pinester having ever been here. Unless that’s one of your pet names, the -ster at the end certainly suggests something that smells of Trumpy.

How revealing also that you know WHY people were banned – morality, decency and civility? My goodness, I can think of many people in the “Christian” camp who violate those same qualities daily. I’m sure you know who I mean.

You don’t win awards like Dunning-Kruger on FSTDT without having some very big fans, Trumpy. Which is something of an institution. For very good reasons, too, I might add.

One last thing I’ll leave you with.

You claim to “hate” no one.

Why don’t you read the above post one more time. The salient bits:

            “website stalking…hypocritical…God denying…magic believing… freedom loathing…deviant…hate…intolerance…nonsense… mudslinging…slanderous lying….misguided…”

Keep those words in mind anytime you’re accused of hate in the future, won’t you, Muffin Head?

NOTHING! No new posts for days. (Quite understandable. If I were you, I wouldn’t want anybody back at the hatesite to know just how badly you were recently smacked down ! I forgive you.) But, this last post you said HAD been sent! Can’t trust you fstdt-ers about anything, can we? If I can’t rely on you socially awkward freedom loathers to meticulously archive my work, like you promised, then I’ll just have to start submitting it myself.

          • Quantz

Nope, no lie. It takes a day or two to see what’s coming down the pipe. Only the ADMINS know what’s been submitted….hint….hint…

          • The Last Trump

            REALLY!!?
Alright, I’ll check back in a few then!
You better not be lying. AGAIN. Admin.
Saaaay. You should think about advertising over there. You know, the kind of stuff your folks would be interested in. Really hateful and nasty stuff!
And ol’ Trumpy could keep packing them in as those poor unfortunate souls gather around to hang on the pearls of wisdom dripping from my every post (you better be submitting this!), for a percentage of the cut of course?
Ahhh yes, the Lord works in mysterious ways, He does.

          • Slidellman4life

No reasonable person gives a flaming horse’s patoot what the APA thinks ever since they published the Rind study.

          • Ambulance Chaser

Excuse me, but science doesn’t work that way. You can’t point to an error made almost 20 years ago, by a largely different composition of people, on a wholly unrelated topic, which has been rectified, and the details of the entire affair have been woefully misrepresented, and then act like that organization simply lost all credibility for all time about everything. That kind of thinking is childish, simplistic, and ultimately useless.

You want to challenge the APA? Fine, go ahead. Roll up your sleeves, start reading the studies, point out the errors, and get yourself published in a journal.

Yes, it’s HARD. It’s incredibly hard. It’s expensive, time consuming, and requires years of specialized knowledge and acess to top notch facilities. But that’s how science is done. If you can’t play in the deep end, get out of the pool.

          • Slidellman4life

You’ll find that there is a big, big difference between advancing science and advancing an agenda.

The American Psychological Association showed themselves doing the latter when they published the aforementioned Rind study. It actually got the entire U.S. House of Representatives passing a resolution condemning it. At that point, any credibility they had went bye bye.

          • Ambulance Chaser

Again, one has NOTHING to do with the other. If you would like to refute the APA’s position on transgenderism, by all means, go ahead. I’ll wait. Let’s see it.

But don’t point to some other study, conducted by some other people, on an unrelated topic, and say “Ha! This proves the APA is wrong about everything!”

          • Slidellman4life

Again, one has NOTHING to do with the other.

Wrong! It shows the APA can no longer be trusted as an independent, scientific organization. It is now a political organization and therefore any and all things they publish is suspect.

          • Ambulance Chaser

While I don’t think the Rind study was as bad as people think, let’s just go with that for a minute.

OK, so the APA is now “suspect.” So, what’s the verdict? “Suspect” isn’t an answer. When you evaluated their research on transgender people, what did you discover?

          • Slidellman4life

While I don’t think the Rind study was as bad as people think

The Rind study concluded children who were sexually abused not only suffered no long-term effects, but they also may have benefited from it.

You say that isn’t “as bad as people think?”

Go to hell. I have had enough of sick bleeps like you.

I am going to flag your comment and wonder why you still have posting privileges now you are on record defending the sexual abuse of children.

          • Ambulance Chaser

“The Rind study concluded children who were sexually abused not only suffered no long-term effects, but they also may have benefited from it.”

The Rind study did not conclude that. That’s what I’m talking about. You believe it says something, but it didn’t.

“You say that isn’t “as bad as people think?””

No. I’m saying that the study’s results did not say that, ergo, the results were not as bad as you think.

“Go to hell. I have had enough of sick bleeps like you.

I am going to flag your comment and wonder why you still have posting privileges now you are on record defending the sexual abuse of children.”

Probably because I didn’t defend the sexual abuse of children.

“We’re talking about people USING THE TOILET”

Actually, that is only a part of it, and putting forth that as being the only issue is disingenuous. The law also forbids any law in NC that protects against discrimination based upon sexuality. That is the major issue here.

Translators are leftists? And let me guess…LIBERALS too.

Humiliating myself? By making fun of you? By no MEANS, Muffin Head! This is like shooting fish in a barrel!

          • The Last Trump

Ya know, I would accuse you of spewing a bunch of hate there but….
I’m just not leftist or liberal enough! 🙂 It’s all good Muffin!

          • Quantz

Ah, that good old fundamentalist logic – if you point out someone else’s hate, you must be hateful yourself. Yep, THAT works Muffin Head!

          • The Last Trump

Ah, that good ol’ liberal leftist logic – if you disagree with me, YOU HATE!
            Hee, hee! Never gets old!

          • Quantz

Good ol’ Trumpy logic seems to dictate from these few informative sentences that if you’re a member of the “liberal left” then you hate, so I think I understand the definition just a LITTLE better than you do…

          • The Last Trump

I’ll have to take your word for it.
Far be it for me to explain matters of which I have no experience or understanding.
Clearly, on the subject of hate, you are the expert! 🙂

          • Quantz

            Is that right, chuckles?
Here’s a laundry list of your least favourite human beings: homosexuals, the transgendered, liberals, pro-choice, those who accept evolution, and Catholics. That’s a list of the non-derogatory words I choose to use…I know you have far more colorful ones you prefer.

Now…who is it that I hate?

            …tick….tick….

            There we have it.
            Speaks volumes, doesn’t it?

          • The Last Trump

Um. What is “everyone” for two hundred, Alex?
            🙂

          • Quantz

Kudos for the non-answer. Although I have to admit I was certain ou were going to say “Christians”. Meaning REAL Christians, of course, not those awful Catholics you hate so much.

What about the women who expect to be able to go to the bathroom without having transgendered men forced to use the bathroom with them?

    • acontraryview

“Yet he demands all females be discriminated against by being forced to use the bathroom with the few males in life just because they “feel” like they’re really a female.”

How are they being discriminated against?

      • Reason2012

Good question: how ARE men who feel they are really women “discriminated against” by continuing to use the men’s room?

        • acontraryview

I’ll ask again: how are all females being discriminated against?

For Heavens sakes, we do know ISIS wants to cut the throats of our children and North Korea wants to shove a nuke down the throat of this nation right? Nah… lets fight over who gets to the bathroom first.

Take your choice on the bathroom issue for the gender confused: defying G-d or defying nature?

So PayPal wants to deny jobs to a segment of the population because women identifying as men want to use urinals, and men identifying as woman will still lift the seat rather than sit down, etc. Brilliant!!

  • Grace Kim Kwon

The West is being bored having full stomach and everything the earthly life offers for the longest time. Now the perv rich are trying to amuse themselves by persecuting the Christians in the land where Christians have established nations for Christian happiness. American Christians must keep the frontline within their borders; the poor nations have no defense against the tyranny of rich Western pervs. Please contain the filth within the border until God deals with the Sodom directly. Liberty is for the Holy Bible. objective truth, and clear human conscience. Don’t submit to Sodomites after 400 years of hard works. Americans, don’t dishonor God or shame all your forefathers by bowing to Sodom. Battle for freedom AND sane morality. Submit to God alone as the Holy Bible commands.

  • Grace Kim Kwon

It’s been wrong for the Americans, therefore entire mankind, to seek only money and popularity unconditionally. It only made people submit to Sodomites. Sin is slavery. Americans need Christianity for truth and liberty.

  • Catherine Neill

I agree with Franklin Graham’s statement: PayPal gets the hypocrite of the year award! This company says they’re not coming to North Carolina because the legislators and Gov. Pat McCrory have passed a law to protect women and children against sexual predators by not allowing men to use women’s restrooms and locker rooms.

Congressman Robert Pittenger made a great point yesterday: “PayPal does business in 25 countries where homosexual behavior is illegal, including 5 countries where the penalty is death, yet they objec…t to the North Carolina legislature overturning a misguided ordinance about letting men in to the women’s bathroom? Perhaps PayPal would like to try and clarify this seemingly very hypocritical position.”

Just last month PayPal announced they would be expanding into Cuba, a country in which homosexuals and transgender people are imprisoned, tortured, and executed. PayPal only agreed to come to Charlotte in the first place after holding out for millions in corporate incentives. And under the current law that they are so strongly protesting, PayPal could have chosen their own corporate bathroom policies.

I’m very proud of NC Lt. Governor Dan Forest who said: “If our action in keeping men out of women’s bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it. North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our children. They are precious and priceless. If a corporation wanting to do business in North Carolina does not see the worth of our children in the same light, then I wish them well as they do business somewhere else.” He couldn’t be more right! We need more politicians across the country with this kind of backbone. Pray for the NC governor, lieutenant governor, and legislators that they stand strong against the attacks of this wicked agenda.

    ‪#‎NCprivacyandsafety‬ ‪#‎StoptheBullying

    • SSGT_Randolph

There are already laws in place, even in North Carolina, to protect women and children against sexual predators.

    • acontraryview

“”If our action in keeping men out of women’s bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it.”

He is being disingenuous. The law they passed will not keep men out of women’s restrooms. There is no law in NC that prohibits men from going into women’s restrooms. Further, more Republicans have been caught in restrooms participating in illegal activities then transgender people have.

“PayPal could have chosen their own corporate bathroom policies.”

You seem unaware that the law also allows for legalized discrimination against homosexuals. That is PayPal’s primary objection.

As for doing business in Cuba….first, Cuba does not “imprison, torture, and execute” homosexuals for being homosexual. Second, doing business in a location is not the same as locating your business in a particular place.

  • Jewely

Really, PayPal? Have you lost your minds? I must cancel my account! Corporations should quit trying to twist the the arms of the people to their corporate will! Enough of that!

Sodom was destroyed because the government as a policy of law were without mercy and compassion to the poor and outcast and those that aided them, i.e. like the rulers of North Carolina.

Pay Pal did the right thing.

      • http://www.bing.com/ Martin Smit

Paypal has pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but will not aid the poor and needy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Your allusion to Ezekiel 16 neglects that “Sodom” refers to Jerusalem. Ezekiel 16 also says “You bear the penalty of your lewdness and your abominations, declares the Lord.” I sometimes wonder what “lewdness” refers to … but I would have to find a dictionary to figure it out.

        • Guest

No it refers to Sodom and we know this, the rabbis discussed the sins of Sodom for well over a thousand years:

some bits from the Babylonian Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin regarding the sins of Sodom:
They said: Since there come forth bread out of [our] earth, and it has the dust of gold, why should we suffer wayfarers, who come to us only to deplete our wealth. Come, let us abolish the practice of traveling in our land…

Now, they had beds upon which travellers slept. If he [the guest] was too long, they shortened him [by lopping off his feet]; if too short, they stretched him out.

If a poor man happened to come there, every resident gave him a denar, upon which he wrote his name, but no bread was given him. When he died, each came and took back his.

A certain maiden gave some bread to a poor man, [hiding it] in a pitcher. On the matter becoming known, they daubed her with honey and placed her on the parapet of the wall, and the bees came and consumed her. Thus it is written, And the Lord said, The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah, because it is great. leading us to Genesis 18:20

Yes, the powers that be in Sodom acted with the same tone as the rulers of North Carolina, all that’s missing is the severity.

          • http://www.bing.com/ Martin Smit

Fortunately the text speaks for itself, quite apart from the fruitless speculations you would add to it.

          • Guest

Yes the text does, as does the rest of Scripture. Jesus knew that how these cities treated travelers and the outcast was the reason for its punishment. But then you’re going to believe what you want anyway so all I’ll do is ask you to open your heart to Scripture and the Spirit.

          • Paige Turner

            Inhospitality. Correct!

The sin of Sodom was a sin of inhospitality. Quote as many bible verses as you want. The theological position is clear. The translation differs from language to language over millennia.

          • disqus_O2BUmbLecp

If u live in USA, don’t u hv to obey US laws.? … If yr answer is yes, that means u hv to obey God’s law when u talk about Sodom n Gomorrah or His Bible/Word, eg .. JOHN.6:63 = ” … The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”

Pls quote from the Bible which says that God destroyed Sodom n Gomorrah bc of the sin of inhospitality, n not sexual sins.
…….Fyi, the word sodomy is derived from Sodom, n the sexually-transmitted disease gonorrhea is derived from Gomorrah, both r from the ancient Bible.

          • Paige Turner

The Constitution of the USA has over 4000 words and none of them are God. The bible is also not the law. You have freedom of religion and consequently I can have freedom from religion. Its very simple and elegant.

The USA is not a theocracy so you don’t get to impose biblical law on others. Thats constitutionally protected too.

The word Sodom has nothing to do with STI’s

      • disqus_O2BUmbLecp

        JUDE. =
5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved
the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did
not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the
        judgment of the great day;

7 as SODOM and GOMORRAH, and the cities around them in a similar manner to
these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after
strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of
        eternal fire.

        • Guest

Jude is an odd book that many thought shouldn’t be in the Bible. Fortunately we know it used the non-canon Book of Enoch and was referencing that in this line, about the angels sent to earth to look over mankind, the Watchers, and their lust for human women mentioned briefly in Genesis – angels are the ‘other flesh’ referenced – no Greek speaker would refer to human ‘flesh’ of any gender as ‘other flesh’, that referred to a different species, other than human.

We know that the Talmud speaks of the heterosexual sexual excesses of Sodom but the act that caused God to send the angels to judge them was their behavior towards the poor, poor travelers and the people that aided them.

          • disqus_O2BUmbLecp

JER.23:14 = Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem:
            They commit adultery and walk in lies;
They also strengthen the hands of evildoers,
So that no one turns back from his wickedness.
All of them are like SODOM to Me,
            And her inhabitants like GOMORRAH.
            .
            .
            .
2PET.2: = Doom of False Teachers

4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of SODOM n GOMORRAH into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— 9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority.

They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

          • Guest

You realize I think you are the false teacher, right?

          • disqus_O2BUmbLecp

False teachers r like yrself, who put more weight on the Jewish Talmud than the Christian Bible, say that JUDE is an odd book n seldom quote or follow the Bible/Word of God.

          • Guest

Please, there is no conflict between the Bible and the Talmud other than in your false expectations and assumptions you make about the Bible. And the book of Jude is one of the books that was widely contested during the compilation of the bible texts. We don’t worship the Bible, an anthology of books written by many many people, we worship God. People were accepting the Spirit and God’s undeserved gift of Grace years before a single word of the New Testament was even penned. As I’ve pointed out before Kim Davis belongs to a church that doesn’t believe in the Trinity, they think anyone baptized in by anything more than Christ’s name isn’t really baptized at all. Does anyone think such beliefs are a barrier to God’s Grace? Or Mormons? Or Charismatics? Or Catholics?

Have you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior? Do you strive to do as He commanded and love and forgive others? Do you regret every lost opportunity to have done as He commanded?

If so, righteous judgement is over – the rest is up to God. Making salvation seem difficult is the devil’s ‘last gasp’ trick and so very many people calling themselves Christian these days have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

This law does not target or discriminate against anyone. What it does is protect people of conscience who are being attacked by LGBTs. Boycott PayPal!

it is God’s people that wouldn’t be able to buy or sell because they do not have the mark of the beast. We need to stand to God and His truth and He will take care of us. He will never put more on the Christian than He can handle. Look at what people did to Jesus they will do the same to His people.
