Perry Noble Fired From NewSpring Church Over Alcoholism, Marital Issues

Noble Background-compressedGREENWOOD, S.C. (Greenville Online) — About 2,000 members made the warm walk across the NewSpring Church parking lot in Anderson for each worship service Sunday morning.

Few were fully braced for the news that awaited: Perry Noble, the only senior pastor the church has known, has been removed from his duties for personal issues related to alcohol by the church’s leadership team.

Williamston Town Councilman Rockey Burgess said the news “did come as a shock” in the 9:15 a.m. service, even though recent rumors had prepared him to a degree.

….. and who have all sat under this false teacher for all his time there ………. This is not a terrible loss ……….. perhaps this will be a cleansing of false teachers in the church ……… not just this one …. praying they find and install a proper exegetical pastor that they deserve …… that they need … hope that PN finds Christ and is healed ………. or more that Christ finds him ……… hope he does not pull a Mark Driscoll and avoid responsibility in Phoenix and they become co-pastors of that apostate “church” ………..

Praise God another charlatan has been exposed!
Sadly, those who sought to have their consciences dulled, and their ears tickled, are left with empty hands. I hope some will be jolted, and flee from this institution. May the fear of the Lord fall upon them. May they repent and believe in the TRUE gospel.

Whatever the issues this man is having, hopefully he will lean on God and be a better man for it. The church may be at a time where they need to have someone new in there to guide the people. Preachers are men like anyone else and can fall into sin and temptation like anyone. We should pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ no matter what state they are in.
