Provocative Preachers’ Wives to Flaunt it All in ‘Shocking’ New TLC Reality Show

As a premiere of what is to come in 2013, TLC is unveiling a new reality show that features a behind-the-scenes look at the everyday lives of five preachers’ wives from Atlanta, Georgia, whose lifestyles are much different from what they portray in church.

“If you pull back the curtain and see us for who we truly are, you’d be shocked,” states Ivy Couch, whose husband Mark leads Emanuel Tabernacle Church.

The Sisterhood is set to begin airing on January 1st on the popular Learning Channel, which often features reality shows of various types. The broadcast follows five women that are married to preachers in one of the largest cities in the Bible Belt, who often dress provocatively, giggle about sexual matters with their friends and husbands, and live on the edge in a variety of ways.

“She’s fit and fabulous and her wardrobe leaves little to the imagination,” reads the bio for Tara Lewis, a certified fitness instructor who recently moved to Atlanta from Los Angeles after her husband took a job at a church in the area.

“Tell the devil he’s a liar!” Lewis announces in the preview, while wearing skin-tight shorts and a t-shirt that she pulled up to expose her midriff.

“Did you get breast implants, too?” asks Christina Murray over dinner with the women, whose husband Anthony leads Oasis Family Life Church.

“Christina often makes it known that she’s a sassy Latina who you don’t want to mess with,” her bio reads. “Christina and Anthony …  have to wrangle their two challenging teenage daughters who are just as sassy as their mother.”

Another scene shows Ivy Couch laughing as she opens a gift bag from her husband to find that he had given her handcuffs to use in the bedroom.

“You better watch yo’ self, girl!” her husband jokes.

“People don’t expect a preacher and his wife to have a good sex life,” Couch tells the cameras.

“It’s very difficult to be a ‘first lady.’ Very difficult,” she declares in another scene.

In one episode, Dominique Scott, who ran Good Life International Church with her husband until it recently closed, points to the house where she smoked her first crack pipe as she rides through town with the women.

“Preachers’ wives can run from very conservative to very radical,” states DeLana Rutherford, whose husband Myles leads Worship With Wonder Church in Kennesaw, Georgia. DeLana, a singer, and her husband are quoted as having a “strong mantle of a proceeding and prophetic word.”

“One look at DeLana singing on stage in her leather pants and spiked heels and you’ll definitely think she’s a rock star,” writes Access Atlanta about Rutherford.

The women are often seen from episode to episode pushing the envelope in both behavior and attire, at times wearing outfits that expose cleavage or the thigh area, or arguing amongst each other about relational matters.

Eight episodes have been shot for the first season, of which one news outlet asks, “Will this be heaven sent or a devil’s wish?”

The Sisterhood will air at prime time on Tuesday nights on TLC.

Poor deceived women. They are so filled with arrogance and pride that they are in La-La-Land. Read your Bibles ladies and see what a true woman of God is like. I feel sorry for them and anyone that might look to them for leadership. Truly a disgrace.

Amen Kathleen. They are lost and blind…their husbands too…and one thing they better realize, and soon….GOD will not be mocked. They will not only be judged for their own foolish sin, but their lifestyle and false teaching will make them accountable for the blood of those lost souls following them. They need serious prayer…

I am a pastor’s wife in the Atlanta area. I am saddened that during the celebration of our Lord’s birth we must be exposed to those who would pervert the gospel. During this season let us be reminded of Zachariah and Elisabeth, a ministry team to be hailed as exemplary ministry models throughout the ages, were described as “Both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord, Luke 1:6.” I am embarrassed that we must have Hollywood examples who are not real, only air brushed, brief exerpts of real life women, to look to as our role models. All of this excess, purchased with the tithe of loving sacrificing saints of God. Amazing how we can decieve ourselves.

I would be interested to hear what the parishioners of their church have to say about their First Ladies acting in this manner, not to mention their Pastors allowing their wives to do this. If I belonged to any of these churches I would be looking for another house of whorship to receive my leadership from.

All we need to know about this is what our Lord and Savior has already said about these wolves…

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Atlanta is a cesspool of “african american” heretical church filth. A bunch of black people who made a boat load of money who become as disgusting as the white people who go to Catholic mass. Look at how the vast majority of black people voted for a Marxist to see how messed up they are and how lured they are to follow people only because of race. They have become more racist then whites on average now.
