Saturday Night Live Inundated With Complaints Following Blasphemous ‘DJesus Uncrossed’ Skit

A skit recently featured on the popular late night comedy show Saturday Night Live that portrays Jesus taking vengeance in a bloody rampage against His enemies has generated uproar across the country from those who find the dramatization to be blasphemous.

The skit, entitled “DJesus Uncrossed,” serves as a spoof of Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained,” and plays like a movie trailer. In the two-minute feature, Jesus is seen rolling the stone away from His tomb, and after the final push, declares in a Terminator-like fashion, “Guess who’s back?”

The scenes that follow then depict Jesus embarking on a violent and gory killing spree, with a cross on his back and a sword or gun in His hand.

“He’s risen from the dead,” the narrator states. “And He’s preaching anything but forgiveness.”

Jesus, played by Christoph Waltz, begins by engaging in a showdown with the Romans, one of whom Jesus strikes in the head with His sword, splitting it in half as blood comes gushing out.

Another scene shows Saint Peter gathering twelve apostles who will join the fight against the “Ro-mans,” demanding, “Each of you owes me 100 Roman scalps.”

Among several instances of profanity, the skit continues by portraying Jesus confronting Judas Iscariot, who tells the Lord that He needs to “chill.” Jesus, who aims a gun at Judas, then states, “When you get to Heaven, say hi to my Dad.” He then blasts a bloody hole through Judas from front to back.

Other portions of “DJesus Uncrossed” depict Jesus walking on water with pistols in each hand, and a mock review quote that states, “I never knew how much Jesus used the n-word.” It concludes with Jesus cocking his gun and declaring, “No more Mr. nice Jesus.”

While some have commented that they found the spoof to be humorous, stating that it was “hilarious” or “hysterical,” or as one Catholic woman remarked, “I bet Jesus has a sense of humor and would be laughing at it,” others have been deeply offended by the skit. Saturday Night Live‘s Facebook page has been inundated with complaints from viewers who state that “DJesus Uncrossed” is one of the most blasphemous skits they have ever seen on the broadcast.

“Part of what makes SNL funny is pushing the envelope some. But to ridicule Jesus? And with heavy duty weapons?” writes one commenter named Mary. “And I’m sorry, but taking Jesus’ name in vain and making His resurrection a public joke … is slapping too many in the face.”

“Extremely blasphemous. Horrible skit. Made me sick,” said a second viewer named Caleb.

“This was the worst skit I have even seen. I couldn’t stop crying,” added Adam. “I’ll never watch SNL again.”

“I just saw the skit you did on mocking Jesus. SNL has stooped to a new low,” remarked Carol. “If this is what you think is funny, shame on you! I grew up watching SNL, but I can tell you that I will never watch your show again!”

The video remains on the main page of the Saturday Night Live website.

But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Just think of all the children that probably watched the show.

    Enough said!

You know, as an atheist, I can’t help but wonder at all these “sensible people” who have no tolerance for “hateful/offensive/disgusting” speech . . . Yet have no qualms as a collective about **going out of their way to offend Christians,** then turn around and laugh at them for getting so upset. When:
1.) They wouldn’t dare offend Muslims.
2.) They wouldn’t dare offend practitioners of Judaism, either.
3.) They openly prattle on about how important it is to “respect the beliefs of others.” Constantly.

I don’t care how it sounds. I don’t care how many leftists disagree with it – leftists are argumentative to a fault, anyway. They don’t know when to stop arguing long enough to maybe consider the other person’s points, possibly even conceding to them, because humility is not in their playbook. It’s all about being right.

And yeah, there’s the old sneering “Why don’t Christians practice what they preach?” Well, why don’t they? What’s so hard about just respecting Christian beliefs with the same ire they defend Muslims with? On that same note, they rip on Right-wingers for their criticisms of Islam, even though Islam is the same religion which brought you jihad and 9/11, and won’t rest until the infidels are gone. (Hint: We’re the infidels – especially registered Democrats.) Leftists, out of the other side if their mouths, love to reference the Crusades as justification for their hivemind attack on believers and Jesus.

This isn’t the first time I’ve weighed in on the liberal media showing preferential bias toward Christianity while preaching about “tolerance,” not by a country mile. This has been ongoing for years now, and none of them have stopped to, I dunno, maybe think for themselves for the time it takes to consider the possibility that they may be weong for what they’re doing. That’s the reason “The Daily Show” is daily; it went from funny to blatant propaganda machine a loooong time ago. If they stop airing it every day, leftists will suffer propaganda withdrawals long enough to see the error in their logic. Sound far-fetched? Yeah well, telescreens in “1984” could not be turned off for just that reason: Big Brother’s propaganda had to be circulated at all times to ensure Party members that they were winning the war, doing the right thing, and should love their government above all else. The Two-Minutes Hate in “1984” is, in real life, usually thirty minutes to an hour depending on your cable/satellite package. See what they did there?

Constant conditioning is required to keep masses brainwashed into buying their own doublethink – hatred of all religions is unacceptable, unless it is Christianity because of the Crusades – carried out to halt the encroachment of violent Islamists into Europe, no less. Even though people of religions besides Christianity are slaughtering thousands every year in the present day. You HAVE to be brainwashed at all times to believe there’s any logic in any of it.
