In one case, an anonymous man known as applicant X, who entered into a homosexual “marriage” three years ago, sought a declaration that the union is valid under NI law.

In the other, two couples who are in civil partnerships also challenged the law, claiming that they are entitled to get married in Northern Ireland.

it seems mental illness is sweeping the planet ….. it is especially taking hold of the US ….. “how does homomarriage affect your marriage” ….. you are seeing the results today ……… mass insanity to erase everything that has made this country what it has become ….. and it is spreading ….. some pockets of sanity are still holding on …… but for how long is the question ….

    • Garbage Adams

You are misrepresenting Orwell’s quote in a major way. He said nothing on the subject of homosexual marriage (not “homomarriage” as you keep calling it).

      • Amos Moses – He>i

i never claimed he did say anything about HOMOMARRIAGE ………..

        • Garbage Adams

Why use his quote to suit your agenda?

          • Amos Moses – He>i

because it about what has happened and what is happening ……………

3 Reasons Why People Want You To Hate THEM

Some people WANT you to hate them.

        1. They want you to hate them because THEY get oppression points. Being the victim is an accomplishment for them. People want you to hate them because it gives THEM significance. Believing they are hated is a fundamental part of their identity.

        2. They want you to hate them because if you do not, they would feel obligated to consider what you have to say. The respectful thing to do with people you disagree with is to engage them through an exchange of ideas that involve mutual respect and a sincere attempt to understand the others perspective. But they do not want to have to explain why kids do not need to have a mother AND a father or why a white woman can identify as a man but not an african american. They want to be able to do whatever they want to do and never feel “judged” for doing it. By telling themselves you are hateful relieves them of the need to defend what they are doing and their ideas from critique.

        3. They want to believe you hate them because THEY HATE YOU. That is the great irony here. They hate you because you believe there are ways to show love other than through approval. And if you hate them back, in their minds that somehow validates THEIR hatred of YOU. That is the nature of bitterness. The sad fact is, once you choose to hate someone, EVERYTHING they say or do is offensive to you. Even kindnesses will be interpreted in a way that allows them to think of it as hate. It could be they accuse you of hating them because THEY WANT YOU TO HATE THEM.

Nothing i can do about that …..

So they get the marriage done elsewhere.
