A Ten Commandments monument at the courthouse in Dixie County, Fla. will remain in place for now after the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals today sent an ACLU lawsuit back to a lower court, according to court records.
The lawsuit filed by the ACLU, on behalf of a part-time resident of a neighboring county, asks that the five-foot tall statue of the Ten Commandments be removed.
