(Evangelical Focus) — The bodies of 34 children attending a Bible camp in a remote northern region of the island of Sulawesi (Indonesia) have been found, the Red Cross confirmed.

A mudslide engulfed the Christian church, rescuers said. “A total of 34 bodies were found by the team,” Indonesia Red Cross spokeswoman Aulia Arriani told AFP Tuesday.

86 students had initially been reported missing from the Bible camp at the Jonooge Church Training Centre in Sigi Biromaru district.
