Donald Trump: ‘Who’s Better for the Gay Community Than Donald Trump? Believe Me!’

DALLAS — “So you tell me, who’s better for the gay community, and who’s better for women than Donald Trump? Believe me!” These are the words of the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party during a recent speech in Dallas, Texas Thursday night as the candidate works to court women and openly homosexual voters.

Trump previously weighed in on the “transgender” bathroom controversy by stating that men who dress like women should be permitted into women’s restrooms, and vice versa, if they identify as such, and earlier this year promised “more forward motion” on “gay equality” should he become president.

The Bible teaches in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that homosexual behavior is against God’s law and is sinful, which will result in eternal damnation for all those who embrace such a lifestyle. However, the Scriptures also teach in verse 11 that those ensnared in such sin can be set free through Jesus Christ.

so what does the conservative christian supporting trump now say?

    • Guest

That all Americans have the right to be protected from terrorist attacks.

      • Becky

Who says they don’t? Every citizen has that right. Just because some Muslim terrorist attacked them doesn’t mean they don’t have that right.

        • Guest

That is in essence what Donald Trump is saying.

      • Peter Leh

but not equal protection under the law?

        • Guest

Of course equal protection under the law.

          • Peter Leh

then why were we conservatives and republicans opposing it for the gay americans?

          • Guest

No one opposes equal protection for homosexual Americans (unless you’re referring to the Democrats and libs who refuse to protect the homosexual population from Islam).

          • Peter Leh

i dunno ….there are many states that still discriminate against homosexuals in housing jobs, public accommodation…

            Texas is one of them

          • Guest

If they were doing something illegal, they’d be called out on it. Also, Texas doesn’t equal the Republican Party.

          • Peter Leh

“If they were doing something illegal, they’d be called out on it.”

that is right. it is legal to discriminate in Texas based on sexual orientation. Homosexual do not have equal protection under the law in this state

“Also, Texas doesn’t equal the Republican Party.”

            LOL…

anyway.. it is not the democrats prohibiting the equal protection of american citizens. So when trump invites a group of people we conservative have been actively working against I ask again

“what does the conservative christian supporting trump now say?”

          • Guest

You’re talking around yourself, and haven’t proven anything. Democrats are the ones who have chosen Muslim terrorists over the homosexual population. Disgusting.

          • Peter Leh

I talking about trump… asking for support form a group we conservatives actively work against. :0

          • Guest

Conservatives aren’t working against anyone. They are the ones trying to do something about the homosexual massacre that the Dems want to step over.

          • Peter Leh

“Conservatives aren’t working against anyone. ”

ha… could have fooled me. cakes, flowers, housing insurance, employment.

was it the liberals opposing these things?

          • Guest

Christians are the ones who have been persecuted over their faith and over the age-old definition of marriage. You cry over a cake when homosexuals are being slaughtered by Muslim extremists the left bring in and love. Hypocrite.

          • Peter Leh

I have not mentioned Muslims. Please stay on point.

the hypocrite is the one putting words in another’s mouth? 🙂

          • Guest

Uh, read the article. I’m the only one staying on topic. You’re rambling on about Texas, a state that would probably take a gay-massacring terrorist out with one shot.

          • Peter Leh

yes I gave Texas as an example of a state that prohibits equal protection, just as we conservative are doing yet Trump is inviting said group into the fold, so please jettison example if it be confusing.

          • Guest

a.) Poor example and off topic

            b.) You’re not conservative

c.) Please try to stay on topic

          • Peter Leh

“a.) Poor example and off topic”

            i started the topic

            “b.) You’re not conservative”

of course not, because we don;t see eye to eye? LOL

“c.) Please try to stay on topic”

I am. What are we conservative to do as trump invited others into the fold that we have be prohibiting equal protection? 🙂

          • Guest

a.) The topic is the title of the article.

            b.) Because you can’t redefine a word.

c.) You’ve made it clear you’re here to troll.

          • Peter Leh

“a.) The topic is the title of the article.”

so now that trump, according to the article, has invited the gay community into the fold, what are we as chrisitans who opposed the gay community to do?

            “b.) Because you can’t redefine a word.”

            which word would that be?

“c.) You’ve made it clear you’re here to troll.”

then move along. do not feed the trolls. 🙂

          • Guest

a.) You’re not a Christian. However, Trump has invited homosexuals into the Republican party, but guess what? There are already plenty of homosexual Republicans out there. Some of the leading voices of conservative media are homosexual. You sound homophobic.

            b.) Oh my. Trolling again.

          • Peter Leh

            “a.) You’re not a Christian.”

I’m not? well maybe not like you?

I guess you are the standard bearer and gatekeeper? LOL

“There are already plenty of homosexual Republicans out there”

there is. and we christian conservatives were opposing their equal protection as well. Seem like it would be conflicting for us conservative christian to support trump and welcome more homosexuals into the fold.

            “You sound homophobic.”

doubtful, the questions are rhetorical. meant to barb my fellow conservative friends.

            “Oh my. Trolling again.”

well, I’m not full. keep the food coming. 🙂

USA needs a Christian leader to obtain life and liberty.

    • Emmanuel

      Amen

    • Jolanda Tiellemans

So that leaves out Trump. Any other good “Christian leader” you know off?

      • Grace Kim Kwon

        Mr. Cruz.

        • Jolanda Tiellemans

Well, too bad he isn’t running anymore. I’ll guess, you’ve got no one left.

          • Grace Kim Kwon

Rev. Franklin Graham will also make a real good US President.

          • Jolanda Tiellemans

Seriously? Even some Christians on this channel don’t like him.

          • Grace Kim Kwon

Americans have forgotten why their nation was created in the first place. Secular Westerners do not know the meaning of their own history and are persecuting the Biblical Christians for not supporting their Nazi immorality on their soil. I was happy the Westerners would not despise the colored people anymore for being colored. I just never imagined that the Westerners would start persecuting people for not supporting homosexuality or transgenderism as if every Earthling has a duty to bow to sexual immoral people they approve. (Romans ch.1) The Western liberals have crossed the line towards the end of last century. Christians and moral people need independence or additional laws if the society should retain human rights and religious liberty and not be persecuted by decadent people.

  • Emmanuel

Trump: I will be a christian when I need to, an atheist when I need to, a conservative when I need to and a liberal full time.

    • Becky

      An idiot jerk full time.

  • http://www.slowlyboiledfrog.com/ DavidHart-slowlyboiledfrog.com

Trump is meeting with Vander Plaats and a group of evangelical leaders next week. I am sure that he will tell the self-righteous fools whatever they want to hear and they will respond with hosannas. It doesn’t matter. There is no contract. Trump had gotten used to the idea that he can do pretty much what he wants.

As for being a friend to the gay community? Sorry. No sale. Compared to Sec. Clinton it is no contest. Trump is going to get clobbered in November but I doubt that he will be humbled.

    • The Skeptical Chymist

      Indeed, he will get clobbered!

  • Josey

The hour is late and judgement is coming, redemption for those in Christ but judgement for those who have rejected Him and His righteousness, the door is closing and the time is at hand! The world is on the road to hell and it’s already on fire, they have shut their eyes and their ears to the word of God in most churches and most churches have accepted the spirit of error. There are two spirits, One the Holy Spirit of Truth which leads to life everlasting and two the spirit of error that most of the world is accepting with all of it’s perversions which is the antichrist spirit. Choose ye this day whom you will serve! Just as in the days of Noah, God will need to intervene and His word says He will, you better believe the Judge, the Ancient of Days is coming first for His bride then He will ride in on a white horse as Judge and He alone is worthy and holy to judge.

    • Jolanda Tiellemans

Oh, a white horse. I love horses.

  • Guest

Do you really think you will get less of a LGBT slant from Hillary? Of course not.

I hope the next President of the United States will protect homosexuals from Muslim terrorism. The President of the United States should protect all its citizens.

  • SFBruce

Trump has destroyed his credibility with those who support LGBT equality and those who oppose it. Yes, Trump says he’ll be great for the gay community, but he also told the Religious Freedom Coalition that he’s a strong supporter of traditional marriage; he also told CBN that he’d appoint Supreme Court justices in the mold of Scalia in efforts to overturn Obergefell, which legalized same sex marriage. Why anyone supports this man is beyond me.

    • Nidalap

Heh. It’s his spine. He fights where others roll over. Simple as that…

      • SFBruce

What good is a spine without some underlying principle? And I’m not so sure about not rolling over, since his positions often shift, sometimes within the same sentence.

  • Jolanda Tiellemans

Better for women? Wasn’t he the one who called women ‘fat pigs, bimbo, dog’? Oh yeah, sexist much?

    • Nidalap

Still better than the one who worked hard to ruin the lives of the women her philandering husband went after if they had the temerity to actually accuse him…

      • Jolanda Tiellemans

Excuse me? Better? Oh man I almost spilled my tea, laughed so hard. He is a sexist, nothing more.

        • TheBottomline4This

Hillary’s husband is worse than Trump. I’m no fan of Trump’s but Hillary’s guy is worse.

        • Nidalap

Yes, better. Sexist views are nowhere near as bad as destructive actions…

      • Peter Leh

“Still better than the one who worked hard to ruin the lives of the women
her philandering husband went after if they had the temerity to
        actually accuse him…”

hardly a ringing endorsement of “our guy” .

at least trump get rid of his wives. 🙂 Which one is he on now?

        • Nidalap

Heh. Well, in a fallen world, sometimes you have to choose between a distasteful choice and a ” just ain’t no way!” choice… (^_^)

  • TheBottomline4This

I’m voting for Elmo. The 2 bozos running…Trump and Clinton…are a bad choice for many reasons. Ones a liar, Trump and the other is a bigger liar, Clinton.

  • Becky

He is so disgustingly creepy. It’s bad enough that he openly lusts after his own daughter, but to say that he’s better for women…how gross!!!

    • TheBottomline4This

Hillary’s husband is worse than Trump. I’m no fan of Trump’s but Hillary’s guy is worse.

      • Becky

        They’re both dirty old men.

  • Oboehner

It’s pretty sad when presidential debates boil down to the vast majority of people fighting over a turd.
